Terms and conditions

1. Generalities

Mítico Perú reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on this page and will take effect once posted on our website. We recommend that customers periodically review the terms to be aware of possible modifications.

2. Use of the Website

Access to and use of our website is subject to acceptance of these terms. Misuse of the site for any illegal purpose or that may damage its operation or image is not permitted. The content, images and materials on the website are the property of Mítico Perú or its suppliers and may not be reproduced without authorization.

3. Reservations

Reservation process: To confirm a reservation, the client must provide the requested information and make an initial payment, the percentage of which will depend on the type of service contracted.
Deposits and final payments: A non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee the reservation. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before the date of travel.
Booking Confirmation: Once we receive your deposit or full payment, you will receive an email confirmation. It is your responsibility to review the details and notify us of any errors.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by the client: Cancellations must be requested in writing. Depending on the date of cancellation in relation to the departure date, cancellation charges may apply:
More than 60 days before the trip: 50% refund of the total payment.
Between 30 and 60 days before the trip: 25% refund.
Less than 30 days before the trip: no refund.
Cancellations by Mítico Perú: In extraordinary circumstances, such as natural disasters, social conflicts or events beyond our control, Mítico Perú reserves the right to cancel the trip. In this case, a full refund or rescheduling of the service will be offered.

5. Reservation Modifications

Changes requested by the client: Any modification to the reservation, such as changes to date or destination, is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Changes by Mítico Perú: If for reasons beyond our control (weather, strikes, political events) it is necessary to change the itinerary, we will try to offer a suitable alternative at no additional cost. In exceptional cases, some services or activities may not be available and it will not be possible to offer refunds for such modifications.

6. Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have the required travel documents (passport, visas, etc.), as well as to comply with local regulations and the instructions of our guides and operators. Mítico Perú will not be responsible for any incident or problem caused by failure to comply with these responsibilities.

7. Insurance

We recommend that all travelers take out travel insurance that covers cancellations, accidents, illness and loss of luggage. Mítico Perú is not responsible for any losses, injuries or damages that may occur during the trip.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mítico Perú acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (accommodations, transportation, guides, etc.). We are not responsible for acts, omissions or non-compliance by these providers. In the event of events beyond our control (force majeure), we will not be responsible for cancellations or interruptions of service, although we will do our best to minimize the impact.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mítico Perú website, including texts, images, graphics and logos, is the property of Mítico Perú or has been authorized for use. Unauthorized reproduction or use of this material is prohibited without express written consent.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

The personal information provided by users is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to handling personal data in a secure and confidential manner, and will not share it with third parties without the client’s consent, unless necessary to provide the contracted services.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute arising in relation to the services provided by Mítico Perú will be resolved in the competent courts of the city of Cusco.
